The Problem with Big Business

by Right Wing Fighter

“Merchants,” says Jefferson, “have no country. The mere spot they stand on does not constitute so strong an attachment as that from which they draw their gains.”[1]

In that quote he explained the problems with politics in America. Donald Trump’s candidacy has brought this out in full within the GOP, but it goes on in both parties.

The reason that Trump is so hated by the elite of the GOP is that, by standing for the national interest, he cramps the freewheeling profit making of business. Big business is more concerned with making money than anything else, because the kinds of men that fill big business are more concerned with making money than anything else. That’s why the GOP is utterly deaf to the national interest: they get their coffers filled by big business, and the national interest cramps big business.
